Alexandra Jefford

Based at her studio in London’s West End, she was recently invited to collaborate with luxury stationer Smythson on a collection of five rings to celebrate the theme of love.

Initially inspired by the Bauhaus movement and America’s post-war abstract impressionist painters, the inspiration for her jewellery is often born out of a fragment of an idea.

She is renowned for her imagination, creativity and eye for design, which moves seamlessly between the human and natural world, and she often reaches into the social landscape for new ideas and inspiration. Her approach to jewellery – each of her pieces is unique – is inspired by her passion for modern art and design.
