A pair of stunning Art Deco onyx and diamond drop earrings. Each has a pear-shaped onyx and rose-cut diamond set cap, suspended by a rose-cut diamond-set bar. They are finished with two, single rose-cut diamond-set collets, with fan-shaped tops and a triangular-shaped onyx, set between four rose-cut diamonds. The diamonds, millegrain-set in platinum, 0.6 carats and dating from circa 1920, with post and alpha-style fittings, measure 4.9 x 0.8cm long with a gross weight of 7.5 grams.

The earrings are hallmarked ‘Platinum London’, with the "BS" sponsor mark. Glamorous and stylish, in excellent condition and dating from the height of the Jazz Age, these chic earrings are a perfect monochromatic statement. Wear them, and even simple black-and-white is anything but dull.

When combined with the Art Deco geometric forms and glittering diamonds, these earrings become the perfect representation of 1920s elegance.
