An exceptional ring. This gorgeous antique piece was made at the turn of the 20th Century and features an impressive deep blue central sapphire. The sapphire is surrounded by an array of scintillating diamonds, which complement the central stone wonderfully. This piece exemplifies the elegance of the early Edwardian period and would make a stunning engagement ring.

Joanna Hardy says: “An impressive ring. The sapphire is a rich, royal-blue colour and has not been heated, which is a rarity as most sapphires and rubies are heat-treated to improve their colour. A tell-tale sign that the stone has not been heated is the visibility of cross-hatched silk inclusions, which would have melted if the stone had been heated.
