Vivienne Becker says: "The Quatre ring has become a contemporary classic and a best-selling, much-sought-after Boucheron signature.  Launched originally in 2001, the four bands of the ring represent archival elements of Boucheron’s story, including the ribbon, referring to Frederic Boucheron’s father, a draper, the cobblestones of Paris, the ‘gaudrons’, the ribbed texturing of the Reflets watch, and squares of chocolate, a play on ‘Bouche’ meaning mouth.  This ring is the original, classic model, each layer executed in a different colour of 18 carat gold, white, rose, yellow and the unusual chocolate brown, PVD coated. An all day, everyday jewel."
