Of Vietnamese heritage, Yen Duong spent her childhood in Wales and later studied at the Sir John Cass School of Art in London, graduating in 1995.  She believes that her creative impulse was always fuelled by her drive towards innovation.  When she established Yen Jewellery the following year she continued to experiment and work towards her distinctive style of thought-provoking yet lyrically beautiful jewellery, its effortless tactility the result of structural complexities.
