A beautiful diamond and gold bombe dress ring by Van Cleef & Arpels c.1959, centred with a circular dome of pavé set round brilliant cut diamonds in platinum surrounded by an 18ct yellow gold openwork mount of flame-like design, formed of multiple gold threads tapering down to a reeded band. The diamonds are high quality, well matched and bright and lively. The structure of the mount evokes images of curved flames licking up the sides of the ring and encircling the diamond dome. This beautiful ring is perfectly proportioned, ever so stylish and has a wonderful three-dimensional profile, a really lovely example of VCA’s wearable chic 1950s jewels.
Joanna Hardy says: "1950s jewels were unapologetic in their size and use of diamonds. This ring is a great example of the cocktail ring that had no other purpose (unlike an engagement ring or wedding ring) other than to be impactful and stylish. The bombé (domed) design was very popular during the 50s and looks great pave set with diamonds."

UK Addresses - Free

We will happily refund or exchange any item purchased from Omnēque within 14 days of receiving your item. Christmas gifts may be returned until the end of January. Returns are not accepted on personalised or bespoke items.
We are happy to replace items if they are the wrong size or if they arrived defective or damaged. If you need to exchange your item for the same item or need a different size, please let us know in your email per the instructions below and we will return a form to you to include in your package.
