Missoni

Colourful beads in patterns that echo unmistakable zigzags

Missoni started out in knitwear by producing technically exquisite and highly original zigzag patterns in a rainbow of endless colours.

Founded in Italy in the 1950s by Ottavio and Rosita Missoni, today their daughter Angela is the brand’s creative director and president.

The legendary Diana Vreeland was so mesmerised by the highly original flame-dye effect that she helped to champion Missoni. Over the decades its extraordinary aesthetic and use of colourful yarns has helped to generate a diverse world of distinctive products including homewares and beachwear.
