Signed
A term to describe jewels that feature the signature or initials of their designer/maker/jewellery house. A signature became popular in the 20th century to link jewels to designers and the quality that could be expected from them; a signature does not, however, always assure the quality of a jewel, but it can be helpful when buying iconic jewels - just make sure the signature matches the jewel you're expecting to see!
